Birthday: July 14th
Location: Warrensburg, Missouri
Occupation: Copy & Print Specialist at Office Depot (spiffy title, huh? xP)
About me: I consider myself to be an average woman with a lot of luck on her side. I am a huge nerd - I cosplay as Princess Peach at a few cons each year, I'm addicted to video games and card games (mainly Super Mario Bros and Yugioh), and I cry during movies like Beauty and the Beast and Return of the Jedi. I'm also a black belt in Taekwondo and an MMA fighter, which is contradictory to everything I just said about myself, I guess lol. I'm originally from Sacramento, California (born and raised there), but I moved to Kansas City about 6 years ago. From there, I moved to Hole-In-Wall, Missouri (aka Warrensburg) to be with the love of my life, and things have been looking up for me ever since ^.^
Music: Oh, a little bit of everything. Mainly I listen to mainstream pop and whatnot, but I always have a soft spot in my heart for blues and jazz.
Films/TV Shows: Hah, umm...there's a lot in this category. While I don't watch a lot of TV, I'm currently addicted to the Olympics. Some of my favorite shows are Sherlock, Big Bang Theory, and Family Guy. As for movies, that list is so vast that it would take years to write. But my top 3 favorite movies are Star Wars, The Blues Brothers, and Ghostbusters.
Books: Hands down, my favorite series of all time is Sherlock Holmes. I've read every single Sherlock Holmes book I have found to purchase, and am constantly on the hunt for more. However, I've taken a break from it *le gasp* to star a new series - the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind. The unfortunately short TV series "Legend of the Seeker" was based off Sword of Truth - if you haven't seen or heard of Legend of the Seeker, I HIGHGLY recommend it to you.
How many do you have? I used to have a handful, but currently I only have 1 active one.
How many do you want? As many as my budget will allow - I like sending small gift packages and such along with my letters sometimes. It gives penpalism (now a word) more awesome.
E-mail or snail mail? Snail Mail, please.
How long are your letters? At least 2 pages - sometimes I've gotten up to 15 pages. I'm a long-winded writer, so any letter you get from me will be huge, don't worry.
How long does it take you to reply to a letter? Since I literally live next door to a post office, I can usually reply the same day or receiving your letter.
Handwritten or typed? Handwritten, always.
Gender preference: Any, but females seem to have more to say xP
Age preference: I don't really have one, but for the sake of discussion let's go 18+
Where? Anywhere, especially overseas!
What are you looking for in a penpal? Similar interests, someone to talk to and share the little gems in life with, and someone to send mail to. God knows the USPS needs customers :D
